"id say get a Rover" -some guy who'd probably cut off his leg to cure an ingrown toenail

No, we'd cut *your* leg off to cure an ingrown toenail. A large part of Roverdom is planning out what happens to other people very carefully for Schadenfreude returns in future, and possession of a Rover is the best baseline way to get there. Bad ideas as suggestions? 100% on purpose.

"It may not start 83% of the time, but I'll be damned if the horn doesn't work."

Oh your horn isn't working, why not have a whole truck that never works?

He followed up with "Well he wouldn't have that problem if he just got a rover in the first place!"
Right, he'd have 99 problems but the horn ain't one :P

I'm not quite sure why this guy thinks that a british designed electrical device would actually work.

Plot twist: my Rover's horn does not currently work. Despite being wired directly to the battery with its own completely independent circuit, unfused.

what year jeep is the horn not working in? It is the last thing I have to fix on my ladies jeep, an 05 Grand, that has a notoriously bad clockspring (over 200 bucks to replace, thanks Iacocca :) )

I bet I can get you a deal on one! Cleaned a $109k Range Rover HSE yesterday, could probably get them to do $100k just for you. :)

Why wait for a flat? I trade my vehicles in when the fuel light comes on, all new cars come with a full tank.
